I painted this 11x 14 oil on linen from a photograph we took on a recent trip to Estes Park Colorado, it was a beautiful day and a great vacation. I will always remember this walk that Mark and I took and I am so happy I did a painting of it - evertime I look at the painting - I can think of that place, that day , those sounds and smells.

There is this little creek near my house - a place I would have loved to have played at when I was a kid - and obviously still do - I stayed as long as I could painting this - then it just got too hot - I took a picture and finished the piece in my studio.
